I’m too old to be playing games when it comes to relationships. I left all those immature acts in high school.
I read all these magazine articles stating, “How to get your dream guy”, “10 things guys don’t find attractive”, “How to win him over”, etc. etc. Then I read this book, Why Men Love Bitches… and I first I thought it was great. It was empowering women, and although I agree with parts of it… why ignore a guy’s call when your right next to the phone? Why play all these little games and try to follow the rules that society sets for you…
Truth is, these little games might do the trick on some men, but not all. I just want to keep it real with a guy, and for them to keep it real with me. Real meaning just honest, blunt, and up front. I mean I feel like relationships can be whatever you make them out to be.
If you want an open relationship, just say so. If you just want something physical, just say so. If you want something chill or whatever the case is… People need to learn to communicate how they feel to one another instead of playing all these games, dropping hints, and trying to “avoid” serious talks. If you feel a certain way, voice it.
